It's a battle of two playoff bound teams when the Pirates host the Hawks on Friday night in Palatine.

Last week, Palatine ran roughshod over Fremd as sophomore Dom Ball rushed for 242 yards and 3 scores.

Hoffman Estates had no trouble with Schaumburg en route to a 49-20 victory to clinch at least a share of the MSL West title and move to 7-1.

The Hawks boast an average of 40.2 points per game while the Pirates have the best defense in the conference, holding its opponents to 17.4 points per contest.
